Meet our Dog of the Month - Timmy!

Timmy is a 12 1/2 year old Chihuahua who was adopted by his pet parent Kate, when he was six years old. She adopted him from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley after he was transferred from a shelter in Texas. Someone had dumped him on the side of the road but thankfully he ended up at a shelter and soon found his way to Boulder.

Kate and Timmy have a very close and special bond and he is full of personality with a positive disposition. He can be wary of strangers at times, but he and I were comfortable with each other within minutes of meeting and he curled up right next to me on the couch as Kate and I talked about our photo session. He is well trained and a dream to work with as he posed and did whatever we asked of him, happy to receive treats throughout his session.

Since 2008, Kate has been a Pet Nanny in Boulder providing full time overnight care in her clients homes. She focuses on special needs pets who have physical and emotional issues. You can read more about her and her services on her website, Darling Companion here.
