Family & Kids Session of the Month - July 2020

Our featured Family and Kids Session was photographed in June and it was a surprise for a Father’s Day gift. We did the photos at Elks Park in Boulder because the grass was green with purple flowers blooming in the background.

I particularly like photographing kids with their pets as these are bonds that last for many years. This little girl was not quite two years old and the puppy was around a year old. Mom helped with the session, wrangling the child and drying her tears as she was not quite in the mood for having her photo taken. That can happen… Hey, she’s only two years old. I patiently followed her around and we got a lot of great shots, even with smiles and dry eyes. One of her favorite things to do was to give her puppy some treats. It was the puppy’s favorite part too!
