Therapy Dogs at BCH

Recently I was commissioned by Boulder Community Health to photograph the BCH Canine Corps Volunteers and their dogs. The volunteers bring their therapy dogs to BCH to visit with patients, visitors and staff to provide comfort, calm and a some cheer. I photographed 14 dogs with their owners last November and 10 more a few weeks ago.

It was great to meet all of these hero dogs and their people! I know how uplifting it is to get a visit by one of these dogs as my mom has had visits while she was in the hospital on more than one occasion. They always bring a smile to your face. I hope you enjoy some of the photos from the first session.
